Beginner Fly Fishing Clinic in May 2026

The High Country Fly Fishers Beginner Fly Fishing Clinic held in May introduced a new group of anglers to the excitement, challenge, and camaraderie of fly fishing. Led by the dedicated and reliable Larry Finch, the clinic combined hands-on instruction, patience, and encouragement to create an enjoyable learning experience for everyone involved. From casting practice to waterside conversations, the enthusiasm throughout the event was unmistakable.

As one volunteer observed, “Judging by the smiles and enthusiasm witnessed during the event, it was quite evident that everyone who joined the class had a great time. Looking forward to seeing if the excitement carries over and creates a few lifelong enthusiasts for our sport.”
