Workdays:

- Weekend of August 15
Volunteers will help cut willows, build Beaver Dam Analogs (BDAs), spread native seed, and plant willow cuttings. Food will be provided, and a large coordinated effort of up to 100 volunteers is planned.
Project Background

Soapstone Creek, impacted by the 2024 Yellow Lake Wildfire, is undergoing restoration to reduce sediment and wildfire debris entering the Upper Provo River. Funding has reached $24,590, with an additional $45,000 in potential U.S. Forest Service support expected.
High Country Fly Fishers helped launch the effort through a $10,000 Trout Unlimited Embrace-A-Stream grant, providing early leadership and positioning the project for broader support.
